I bought this as a 2nd external drive, to match my LG GSA-E50L - which is now 4 years old. I had thought the technology would have improved since then. Turns out, it hasn't. This drive can't cope with some CDs that the E50L can. It won't touch protected CDs at all, and gets stuck detecting pre-gaps in far too many others for my liking. Great purchase. I was able to store loads of photos from my computer to this machine which has saved a lot of space on my PC and downloading was extremely fast. A great little machine and also good value for money. Would definitely recommend.
