Good player, but no SCART, 8 July 2011

If you don't have an HDMI TV, be aware there's no SCART output on this DVD player. There's a SCART adapter, but you'll get poor quality out of it. I want SCART now and HDMI for when I get a new TV, so I'm buying the old DVP3580.

Philips' model numbers had me scratching my head, so I made a chart (all models do PAL, Divx):

Phillips has come up with a great player. The picture quality is excellent, is easy to operate, and straight forward to set up. Full marks to them, and full marks to Amazon for accurate delivery times.
