I have the previous spot on with 3 led lights. They did the job but not as bright as the new model and not light sensitive so came on even in bright sunshine. The new model is much improved. There is only one LED but the light output is much greater then the prev model as it has a lens that gives a much wider and stronger beam. the light is not as White as the prev model. ...

Was pointed to this product from the Aygo Owners Club forum as a boot light.

The Aygo, being a budget car, have no boot light which is a hindrance in the winter. This light being infra-red meaning at all the moving things in the boot don't set it off.

The magnetic back means it sticks to the back of the seat in the boot and to my surprise it does not fall of when going over bumps or hard cornering, ...

I have to disagree with the reviewer who states that this product is no good for a porch. I have one of these mounted in my porch, mounted down low, facing the inner door, and not once have I noticed it falsely triggering when still dusk, and not once has it failed to trigger when I enter the porch or open the inner door. Works 100% perfectly in the position I mounted it - no more fumbling around with keys and locks for me. Can't really comment on the battery life yet - I've had mine about a month and there's no signs of the batteries dying.

I'm buying another for under the stairs and if I could find any other ...
