For its price it is good. The DVD worked fine and the USB works with JPG pics and AVI/DIVX movies. There is an LED display on the front which shows you how long you have watched the DVD. Thanks to Duncan, I bought this DVD Player as I needed a region free player. It was the simplest one I have ever come across. The code (98790) works perfectly! my only concern is that when I turned it on, I noticed that it is exactly the same as the SUMVISION DVD player (which is also region free), the only difference is that it has the Toshiba name on it. Good for the money, 13 July 2010

This is a great price for a multi-region DVD player. You have to enter the standard Toshiba hack to make it multi-region (use remote to open the tray; enter 98790 and there you are) but that's quite straightforward. I opened the box, plugged it in and off it went. No problems!

The remote feels cheap and nasty and the buttons are very crowded; and the DVD tray feels feels flimsy. It can also be a bit noisy when searching. But all of those seem like minor irritations ...
